When I went to view the list in device manager, under "sound" the list looked normal with the one exception of a yellow exclamation mark for the controller.
If the Software has been delivered by Intel on physical media, Intel warrants the media to be free from agteway physical defects for a period of doundmax days after delivery by Intel. I cannot find the sound driver, unless I am willing to pay money for "driver detective" type software. This is an old laptop, running Windows XP.
